UEFA Champions League: Bayern Munich Beat PSG to Reach Quarter-Finals

Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich (3-3 on aggregate)

PSG eliminated despite winning first leg

Bayern Munich have advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League after a 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their round of 16 tie. The German champions progressed to the next round with a 3-3 aggregate score, thanks to their away goal advantage.

After losing the first leg 3-1 at the Parc des Princes, Bayern needed to score at least two goals to advance. They did so in the 57th minute through Kingsley Coman, who headed in a cross from Thomas Müller. The goal gave Bayern the momentum, and they continued to press for a second. That goal came in the 85th minute, when Müller himself scored from close range after a scramble in the PSG defense.

PSG were eliminated despite a strong performance in the first half. They had several chances to score, but they were unable to find the back of the net. Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer made several key saves, including a stunning stop from Kylian Mbappé in the second half.

Bayern Munich will now face Barcelona in the quarter-finals, while PSG will have to focus on their remaining domestic competitions.
